Yes, the moss is real and was grown naturally! The eco-friendly process of preserving the moss consists of replacing water in the plant with glycerin. This means there is no water in the plants anymore, therefore it will not dry out and will maintain its natural texture and vibrancy.

Our preserved moss and foliage require no regular maintenance or care.

Preserved moss and foliage can become dry if placed in an environment with low humidity. It can however become soft again when returned to a place with relative humidity levels of 45 – 65%

Our preserved moss will last approximately 8-10 years and the foliage will last 3-5 years depending on the environment (aka sunlight, low humidity reduces lifespan). We guarantee our work for one year.

Our preserved products are grown sustainably in France, Italy, Norway, & Spain on organic farms. These preserved products are grown specifically for the purpose of art and are not contributing environmental destruction.

Our living walls are made from living plants that require soil, irrigation, water and sunlight.
Our preserved plants are no longer alive and do not require water or sunlight. In fact, it’s better for the preserved products to be placed in low sunlight or low intensity lighting.
